How is the Applicator different from intrauterine insemination (IUI)?

Intrauterine Insemination (IUI) is a fertility treatment that is performed by a healthcare professional in a clinic setting. IUI involves placing your partner's processed sperm directly in your uterus, bypassing the upper vaginal tract and the cervix, aiding their chances of survival.

The Applicator, on the other hand, is designed for at-home intravaginal insemination (IVI). It allows you to self-inseminate in full privacy and comfort of your home while saying goodbye to the stress and uncertainty of having sex on schedule. The Applicator Extra also helps to deposit sperm in the right place and bypass the lower vaginal tract (an acidic environment where most sperm would not survive), increasing their chances of survival.

When the Applicator is used with the Soft Tip accessory, it transforms into the Applicator Extra. You will be able to enjoy much greater comfort during self-insemination and reduced immediate leakage out of the vaginal tract.
